A lower cost smart Omaha choice for Small Engines – 10W-30 Diesel 100% Synthetic
A perfect fleet product for diesel owners with small equipment. It’s in the improved price category of AMSOIL products. Essentially a cheaper version.
We sell a ton of diesel oil obviously.. 5W-40, 15W-40 even this new 0W-20 and for the new Fords and Dodge Ram trucks the Signature 10W-30 is once again becoming popular (replaced the old Heavy Duty 5W-30 diesel HDD). But one product that has been overlooked which I believe is the best priced one, and saying that we actually make less money on, is the ADN 10W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel oil.
As for diesel trucks many older diesels have 10W-30 listed in the owners manual just as the latest are going back to this grade. Basically you want to run the lowest viscosity w/o any increase in oil consumption. It’s also ideal in the Ford 6.0 to avoid using additives for deposit buildup and easy flow for your fuel pump cams.
Pay no attention to the online retail. This is for reference only but is store suggested retail is much lower.

Exceeds gas and diesel small engine needs.
Being a diesel oil it has just enough ZDDP or zinc for your gasoline small engine needs as well. I’ve discussed it with the blending staff and it sure is a great alternative for our Small engine 5W-30 and 10W-30 (SAE-30). Even better for older equipment yet the overall advantage is price. In the Omaha store expect nearly the same results as the ASE 10W-30 small engine oil for a couple dollars less than the Small Engine line.
You can look at this as the Heavy-Duty tier for small engines and the Small Engine line as the Signature Series. Either way AMSOIL offers what no one else has. Two synthetic choices to prevent deposits adding to long life of your engines. This one works great on your turbo-diesel skid steers as well.
The majority of 4-stroke small engine use 10W-30. (SAE-30, 5W-30 all qualify for our 10W-30). Including but not limited to generators, compressor motors, mowers, tillers, snow blowers, concrete equipment, log splitters and gas water pumps.
